Los Angeles: ready to emerge as a leader in biotechnology

Max Nikias on Los Angeles’ potential to be a leader in the biotech industry. “The dynamic growth of the biotechnology industry, covering a wide scope in disciplines such as engineering, medicine, biology and other natural sciences, will drive most of the great advances of the 21st century,” Nikias wrote. “I am convinced that Los Angeles can be not only an important player, but the undisputed leader of this promising future,” he added.
